Manchester United win the FA Cup for the first time since 2017

Hojlund ends 10-game scoring drought as United finally end their long wait for major silverware
Manchester United ended a wait of five years and 278 days for a trophy as they overcame Newcastle United 2-0 to win the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Erik ten Hag's side were worthy winners, with Marcus Rashford opening the scoring in the 39th minute after a fine run and finish. Jadon Sancho added a second just before the hour mark, slotting home after good work from Bruno Fernandes.
Newcastle had their moments, but they were unable to find a way past David de Gea in the United goal. The Magpies' best chance fell to Allan Saint-Maximin in the second half, but the Frenchman's shot was well saved by the Spaniard.
The victory is a welcome boost for United, who have endured a difficult season by their own high standards. It is their first major trophy since they won the Europa League in 2017, and it will be a huge relief for ten Hag, who has been under pressure since taking over at Old Trafford last summer.
