Elias Pettersson Scores Game-Winning Goal

The Vancouver Canucks strengthened their lead atop the Pacific Division with a 3-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night at Rogers Arena. Casey DeSmith made 32 saves for the Canucks, who have now won three straight home games.

Elias Pettersson scored the game-winning goal in the third period, knocking home a rebound off a shot by Brock Boeser. It was Pettersson's 15th goal of the season and his fourth in the last five games.

The Canucks also got goals from JT Miller and Conor Garland. Patrik Laine scored the lone goal for the Blue Jackets.

The Canucks are now 27-15-4 on the season and have a six-point lead over the Edmonton Oilers in the Pacific Division.
